Montana Leather Rucksack
This rucksack was built using a pattern by Vasille and Pavel, combining rugged structure with a classic outdoor silhouette. The main body is made from Montana vegetable tanned cowhide in deep brown (4/6 oz) — a leather known for its natural range markings, rich character, and excellent hand feel. It has just the right balance of toughness for a reliable bag while still remaining supple and comfortable to handle. The bag is accented with purple chrome tan goatskin on the flap and pocket panels, adding contrast and a distinctive color pairing. Finished with clean stitching, functional pocketing, and durable strap hardware for everyday carry.

Sized for real-world carry, it’s large enough to hold my laptop, tablet, Espresso thermos, emergency medical kit, and other essentials. The bag features two custom laser-engraved centerpiece panels: a custom dragon cowboy logo, and the Vegvísir — a Norse symbol traditionally associated with guidance and safe journeys. The draw/carry strap is made from cotton rope, giving the bag a functional cinch closure while keeping the overall build lightweight and comfortable to carry.
This project combines heavy-duty leatherwork with custom engraving and bold, personalized design elements, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind carry piece.

This Viking-style dice bag was built using a pattern by Dark Horse Workshop, designed as a rugged drawstring pouch for tabletop gaming gear. The body is made from crimson chrome tanned leather, giving it a rich color and soft, flexible feel, while the structure and trim are reinforced with black textured leather accent panels.
The bag is finished with antique nickel studs and decorative nickel medallions, adding a bold, old-world look that fits perfectly at the gaming table. Built to be durable, portable, and practical — this pouch is ideal for carrying a full hoard of D&D dice (and probably a few extra treasures too).
